Business Development Manager

.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading organisation within the Digital Forensics sector.

This role is ideally suited to a commercially focused professional with a strong understanding of digital forensics and a proven track record of developing business opportunities, particularly within the public sector. You'll play a pivotal role in driving growth, building strategic relationships, and positioning specialist services with key stakeholders across law enforcement, government, and commercial organisations.

Working closely with senior leadership, sales, and marketing teams, you will identify new opportunities, nurture long-term partnerships, and help shape the organisation's future growth strategy.

This is a permanent role which is homebased with occasional travel to client sites and HQ in Stratford-Upon-Avon, the salary for the position is up to £45,000 + uncapped commission and benefits. Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate must be eligible for UK Security Vetting (minimum 5 years UK residency required).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across public and private sector organisations.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through networking, telephone outreach, email campaigns, social media, and industry events.
  • Identify customer challenges and position digital forensic solutions that deliver value.
  • Lead and support the preparation of bids, proposals, presentations, and client pitches.
  • Research target organisations and develop account plans to maximise opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal sales and marketing teams to generate qualified opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and customer information within the CRM system.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging customer requirements.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales and business development targets.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Experience within Digital Forensics.
  • Demonstrable success in a business development, sales, or client-facing role.
  • Experience engaging with or solving challenges within the public sector.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • The confidence to present and communicate effectively at all organisational levels.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
  • Knowledge of account planning and customer persona mapping.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive, resilient, and target-driven approach.
  • A genuine passion for technology, digital forensics, and developing long-term client partnerships.
