CRM DEVELOPER, SC SECURITY CLEARANCE, REMOTE, OUTSIDE IR35

My client, Care Inspectorate Wales, is seeking an experienced CRM Developer to support a major digital transformation programme. This role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to Cardiff, Merthyr, and other Welsh Government offices as required. The contract is offered on an Outside IR35 basis and will play a key role in delivering critical CRM enhancements and legislative change initiatives.

As part of a small digital delivery team, you will work closely with Business Analysts, Service Managers, and project stakeholders to design, develop, and implement solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. A significant aspect of the programme involves the migration from Dynamics CRM 2016 to Dynamics 365, alongside the delivery of business-critical system enhancements.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.

• Develop and maintain JavaScript-based client-side customisations.

• Create, deploy, and support C#/.NET plugins and custom workflow solutions.

• Configure and customise forms, views, business rules, workflows, and security models.

• Integrate Dynamics 365 with external systems through APIs and middleware technologies.

• Support the migration from Dynamics CRM 2016 to Dynamics 365.

• Troubleshoot and resolve CRM-related issues and performance bottlenecks.

• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure development best practices are followed.

• Produce technical documentation and support deployment activities.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience developing solutions within Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365.

• Strong JavaScript development experience, including Web API.

• Strong C#/.NET development experience, including plugin and custom workflow development.

• Experience with Power Platform technologies including Power Apps and Power Automate.

• Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 customisation and configuration.

• Experience with SQL Server and FetchXML.

• Knowledge of Dynamics security roles, business process flows, and CRM data models.

• Experience using tools such as XRM Toolbox, Plugin Registration Tool, and Solution Packager.

• Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with external applications and services.

Desirable:

• Experience with Azure services and Azure DevOps pipelines.

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate.

• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (CRM).

• Previous Dynamics CRM 2016 to Dynamics 365 migration experience.
