We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a proactive and commercially focused Renewals Account Manager. This role involves managing the renewal lifecycle of software licences and service contracts across an established customer base. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who excels in client communication, contract management, and identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts. Operating remotely within the Surrey region, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer retention, satisfaction, and revenue continuity.
Day-to-day of the role as Renewals Account Manager
- Proactively manage contract expirations by tracking upcoming renewals and initiating client discussions early.
- Prepare and deliver renewal quotes and proposals, ensuring all information is accurate and aligned to customer needs.
- Ensure timely processing of renewals to avoid service gaps and maintain continuity.
- Act as the main customer contact, addressing pricing, terms, licensing changes, and strengthening long-term relationships.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, collaborating with Customer Success and internal teams to support client goals.
- Maintain accurate CRM data and produce renewal reporting, analysing trends to support retention and process improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong understanding of renewal processes
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Consultative approach with the ability to uncover customer needs.
- Results-driven with a history of achieving or exceeding sales or renewal targets.
- Confident communicator (written & verbal) and comfortable influencing stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
