Cloud Sales Engineer

Reed Technology is delighted to be partnering with a fantastic client who specializes in cloud-native backup and recovery software. They’re currently looking for a Cloud Sales Engineer  to join their team in a hybrid role that blends technical expertise with client-facing engagement.

This role is ideal for someone with a cloud related background, who enjoys working across both tech and business domains—partnering with account executives, joining sales calls to deliver demos, and helping potential clients understand the value of the solution.Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting pre-sales activities with technical demos and cloud expertise.
  • Assisting with implementation in client environments.
  • Resolving technical tickets.
  • Creating resources such as documentation, guides, and webinars.

What they’re looking for:

  • Proven expertise in cloud infrastructure, particularly with AWS and/or Azure
  • Hands-on experience with cloud backup and recovery solutions, whether native or third-party
  • Strong technical foundation in Windows, Linux, and cloud networking principles
  • Exceptional communication skills with professional fluency in English
  • A confident, quick-thinking individual who thrives in client-facing environments
  • Full right to work in the UK - no sponsorship available
