ICT and Computing Teacher

We are seeking an ICT and Computing Teacher to join our team this September for an initial one-month period, with the potential to extend until the October half term. This role is crucial for providing high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring the achievement and engagement of students in line with our school ethos.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Deliver the curriculum relevant to the age and ability group/subjects that you teach.
- Prepare and develop innovative and stimulating teaching materials to support schemes of learning.
- Understand students’ capabilities and prior learning to plan effectively for student progression.
- Address the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs, more able students, EAL students, and those with disabilities.
- Promote high standards of literacy and oracy among students.
- Make accurate and productive use of assessment to secure student progress.
- Provide regular, accurate feedback to students in line with the school’s marking and assessment policy.
- Use assessment data to monitor progress, set targets, and plan subsequent lessons.
- Set homework and plan other out-of-class activities to consolidate and extend learning.
- Continuously review and refine teaching and assessment methods to maximize student progress and well-being.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in ICT and Computing or related subjects.
- Experience in delivering ICT and Computing curriculum.
- Strong understanding of teaching strategies for a diverse range of needs and abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
