We are seeking a dedicated Computing Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching courses in a Further Education setting. This role is ideal for someone passionate about computing and education, looking to inspire and educate students in Kent.

Computing Lecturer

• Hourly Rate: £25 - £35ph
• Location: Kent
• Job Type: Part-time, Term time only

Day-to-day of the role of a Computing Lecturer:

• Prepare and deliver lectures and coursework in computing for levels 2-3 and T level.
• Engage and motivate students to achieve their highest potential in computing.
• Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the computing field to ensure relevance and accuracy of course content.
• Provide guidance and support to students on academic and career-related concerns.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance teaching methods and curriculum development.

Required Skills & Qualifications for the Computing Lecturer role :

• A degree in Computing or a closely related field.
• Experience in teaching or lecturing.
• Strong understanding of the curriculum and requirements for levels 1-3 computing courses.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
