Computing Lecturer
Lecturer in Computing (Temporary) Reed Further Education are currently recruiting for an experienced Lecturer in Computing to join a college in Cambridgeshire on a temporary basis from 1st September until October half term.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Computing Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching across Computing programmes, ensuring continuity of learning and supporting students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective Computing lessons across a range of programmes.
- Follow existing schemes of work and assessment plans.
- Assess, mark and provide constructive feedback to learners.
- Support learner progress, attendance and achievement.
- Maintain accurate student records and registers.
- Promote safeguarding, Prevent and inclusive learning practices.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high standard of delivery.
Requirements
- Degree or higher qualification in Computing, IT or a related subject.
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent).
- Recent experience teaching Computing within Further Education or a similar setting.
- Strong subject knowledge across Computing and Digital technologies.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential).
- Available to start on 1st September.
