We are seeking a Secondary School Computing Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for a dedicated educator with a passion for computing and technology. The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching the UK curriculum, specifically at KS3 and KS4 levels.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging computing lessons to students in KS3 and KS4.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and technological proficiencies.
  • Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for GCSE examinations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the computing curriculum and developments in technology education.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate computing with other subjects and enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
  • Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching computing in UK schools or familiarity with the UK curriculum.
  • Strong understanding of the computing curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students in the subject matter.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
