Creative Media Lecturer

Reed Further Education are recruiting for a Creative Digital Media Tutor on behalf of a specialist post-16 education provider, based in Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate tutor, lecturer, teacher, or industry professional to deliver an engaging RSL Level 1 Creative Digital Media programme in a supportive learning environment with small class sizes.

The Role

You will deliver practical and engaging learning sessions across a Creative Digital Media curriculum, supporting learners to develop industry-relevant skills through project-based learning and qualification delivery. Classes are intentionally small, with a maximum of eight learners, allowing for meaningful individual support.

Pay Rate: £30 per hour

Hours: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday | 9:30am to 2:30pm

Contract: Contract/Freelance with the aim of becoming a permanent member of staff

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Creative Digital Media lessons on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Support learners to achieve their qualification goals.
  • Plan and assess practical projects.
  • Develop learner portfolios and assessment evidence.
  • Differentiate learning to meet individual needs.
  • Maintain accurate learner progress records.
  • Promote positive learner engagement and development.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and compliance procedures.

We are interested in candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Creative Digital Media
  • Graphic Design
  • Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Video Production and Editing
  • Photography
  • Social Media Content Creation
  • Digital Marketing
  • Multimedia
  • Gaming or Esports
  • Creative Technology

You will ideally have:

  • Teaching, tutoring, training, or youth work experience.
  • Experience supporting young people within education, training, alternative provision, SEND or SEMH settings.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
