Data Engineer – Full Training on AWS Provided

Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 Location: UK (Flexible Hybrid Working)Type: Permanent

Your Day-to-Day

• Build modern data platforms and services using DevOps practices.
• Work on large-scale distributed workloads, batch and streaming pipelines, and implement robust monitoring solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and client stakeholders to help businesses unlock the power of their data.
• Contribute to internal projects and ongoing training to expand your expertise.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience building data pipelines using Spark or Pandas.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding of big data tools (EMR, Databricks, DataProc).
• Knowledge of data architectures (Data Lakes, Warehouses, Mesh).
• A proactive mindset with a passion for learning new technologies.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Automated data quality checks and metrics.
• CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
• Exposure to machine learning productionisation.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
