- Contract Duration: 3 Months initially
- Location: Farringdon, London (Hybrid working model, 2-3 days in the office)
- Daily rate paying inside IR35
We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead to join our client's Data team. This role is crucial for supporting their CRM programme and embedding strong data quality practices across the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping data ownership, improving data standards, and supporting data-related changes within the commercial domain.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead the design and implementation of data governance frameworks for CRM data.
- Work with stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship roles, and data quality KPIs.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to improve data processes and ensure accuracy.
- Support the definition and enforcement of data policies and standards.
- Champion data quality as part of ongoing CRM development and enhancement.
- Work collaboratively with the business to build a culture where the value of data is recognised and leveraged.
- Facilitate enablement activity through communications and training.
- Act as a champion for data quality, raising awareness of data controls and helping the business unlock the value of data.
- Develop and deliver Data Governance Management frameworks to measure the quality of our data.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in leading data governance initiatives and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and data management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including communication, influencing, collaboration, listening, and conflict management.
- A proactive approach to work and strong teamwork skills.
- Desirable: Experience in logistics or consultancy sectors.
