Data & Insight Enablement Lead - Adult Social Care
We are seeking a Data & Insight Enablement Lead to spearhead a data culture transformation across Adult and Communities services. This role involves working closely with staff at all levels within adult social care, learning disabilities, mental health, integrated commissioning, and community services. The successful candidate will develop data literacy and engagement, creating a significant impact on service delivery and outcomes.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Create and implement a data and insight transformation roadmap for Adult and Communities services, securing buy-in from internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities where data, analytics, and insights can enhance service delivery.
- Provide expert advice and support on the most suitable data and insight approaches to meet service needs and outcomes.
- Manage and prioritize data and insight demands, acting as the primary liaison between Adult and Communities services and the Data and Insight Service.
- Develop project specifications based on goals, needs, and outcomes of Adult and Communities services.
- Promote and lead the development of monitoring and evaluation practices to deepen understanding of service demand, activity, performance, quality, and impact.
- Oversee the delivery of data and insight projects, managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Communicate data analysis results effectively to various stakeholders, adapting communication styles as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Social Science, Statistics) or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge in various data and insight disciplines such as business intelligence, data analytics, data visualization, and qualitative research.
- Proven experience in implementing data and insight strategies across various service areas.
- Experience in leading and managing the delivery of data and insight projects.
- Strong understanding of local government issues and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in GDPR and other relevant regulations.
