Data Migration Analyst - Oracle Fusion
A public sector organisation is seeking a Data Migration Analyst - Oracle Fusion to support a major transformation programme, the successful candidate will have a strong background in Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Fusion Cloud migrations.
This is a key role within a large-scale enterprise programme, offering the opportunity to contribute to a complex, high-impact migration across Finance, Procurement, and HR systems.
This is an initial 6-month contract based in London with hybrid working available (3 days per week onsite), the daily rate for the role is up to £650 per day via an Umbrella company (inside IR35). Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will be required to go through and hold the necessary vetting.
The Role
You will play a pivotal role in delivering end-to-end data migration activities, supporting the transition from on-premise Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud.
Working closely with business, technical, and vendor teams, you will ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient data migration, supporting critical functions including Finance, HCM, Payroll, and Procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end Oracle Fusion data migration, from extraction through to validation
- Develop and support ETL pipelines to automate the migration process
- Perform source-to-target mapping from Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion
- Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure alignment across all phases
- Support data cleansing and data quality improvement activities
- Monitor migration progress, identifying and resolving data quality issues, schema mismatches, and system compatibility challenges
- Conduct post-migration validation and testing to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards, particularly when handling sensitive datasets
About You
Essential:
- Proven experience delivering Oracle Fusion data migrations (EBS Fusion)
- Strong hands-on experience across Finance, Procurement, and HCM/Payroll modules
- Experience building or supporting ETL processes for large-scale data migrations
- Ability to perform detailed data mapping and reconciliation activities
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and security principles
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical teams
