An experienced Data Warehouse Manager is required for our public sector client based in Bradford.

This role requires a blend of leadership, technical data expertise, and deep NHS data knowledge. You’ll oversee the Data Warehouse function while providing hands-on support across data architecture, engineering, and database administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Line manage and mentor Data Engineers, BI Developers, and other data team members
• Lead on data architecture, including data structures, schema design and data normalisation
• Oversee Data Warehouse strategy, build, optimisation, and performance
• Maintain and understand NHS datasets, flows, and reporting requirements
• Provide hands-on Data Engineering expertise (ETL/ELT, SQL, pipelines)
• Carry out DBA duties, including performance tuning, indexing, and database maintenance

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience managing Data Warehouse functions
• Strong understanding of NHS data
• Excellent data architecture, modelling and normalisation experience
• Solid Data Engineering skills (SQL, SSIS/ADF, Python, Databricks, ETL/ELT)
• Strong DBA capabilities (SQL Server / Azure SQL)
