Database Administrator (temp)
We are recruiting for a temporary, detail-focused administrative professional to clean, verify, and prepare customer data for upload.
The role involves working with Excel spreadsheets containing approximately 1,500 customer records, checking and correcting information, and re-profiling customer details through online research.
This is a short-term project expected to last 2–3 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and standardise customer data held in Excel spreadsheets
- Verify and cross-reference customer information using:
- Google searches
- ChatGPT or similar tools
- Update and correct customer fields including:
- Contact name
- Telephone number
- Email address
- Company / postal address
- Products purchased / customer profile
- Identify and flag incomplete, duplicate, or inconsistent records
- Apply agreed data standards so records are CRM-ready
- Prepare final datasets for upload
- Provide general administrative support related to CRM setup, as required
Project Expectations
- Review and clean 50–70 customer records per day
- Deliver a fully cleaned and verified dataset suitable for CRM migration
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and data consistency
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven data-entry or administrative experience
- Confident internet research skills
- Ability to work methodically and independently
Desirable:
- Previous experience with CRM systems
- Experience cleaning or migrating customer data

- Location: Office Based (NW10). No on site parking.
- Hours: 9am to approx 3/4pm Monday to Friday
