Ecommerce Manager
My client, a successful Consumer Brand based in Manchester is looking for an experienced Ecommerce Manager to drive growth across their digital platforms.
The Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of trading across 3 brand sites, delivering an excellent customer experience to creating a trading plan for key promotional periods.
You will work closely with various departments, including the Marketing team to plan and execute commercial campaigns across digital channels.
Responsible for forecasting and will work closely with product and merchandising teams to ensure efficient stock planning.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for defining the next steps in how to deliver digital growth and will own the execution across the digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and Optimise Websites: Take full ownership of brand website, focusing on sales growth. Conduct regular analyses and reviews of the on-site customer journey to create optimisations that maximise conversions.
- Develop growth strategies: Plan and manage the ecommerce growth strategy to optimise both top line sales and profitability.
- Forecasting: Pull together full financial year forecasts whilst considering key campaigns and promotional periods as well as factoring in new product launches. Work closely with product and merchandising team to maintain good stock levels on key lines.
- Promotional Planning: Work closely with B2B team to create promotional plans to meet ambitious sales targets. Review product sales & bestsellers regularly to scope out promotional opportunities.
- Reporting: Monitor daily sales and create weekly/monthly reports to present back to key stakeholders within the business.
- New Product and Brand Campaign Planning: Work with marketing team to feedback on campaign performance and how they can be optimised for digital channels.
- Manage 1 direct report
What We’re Looking For:
- Ideally 4+ years’ experience managing websites, Shopify experience is desirable but not essential.
- Experience of working in a similar Ecommerce Manager role preferably within an online retail/consumer product capacity
- Proven Track history of delivering digital growth within consumer brands sector
- Understanding of website metrics and a data-driven approach to recommendations.
- Experience with key ecommerce platforms such a Google Analytics and Power BI
- Experience of using CRM systems ie Klaviyo or similar packages – B2C
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of customer experience best practices.
- Good project management, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
