Our client is currently in the midst of implementing Success Factors and S/4 HANA and are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the data migration, integration, and cutover workstream. This role requires close coordination with internal teams, system integrators, business stakeholders, and data owners to ensure a successful and timely migration and go-live.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead the end-to-end data migration and cutover planning, execution, and governance for an SAP ERP transformation, ensuring all elements are progressing as planned.
- Own the cutover plan, including timelines, dependencies, resource plans, go/no-go criteria, and contingency planning.
- Collaborate with the data migration team to track data quality, reconciliation, validation, and transformation activities.
- Ensure readiness of legacy systems, interfaces, SAP environments, and interfaces for the cutover.
- Manage mock cutovers, dry runs, and dress rehearsals to identify gaps and mitigate risks.
- Facilitate and chair cutover-related governance forums, decision points, and status updates.
- Align with broader program management, PMO, and technical leads to ensure integrated delivery.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies related to migration and cutover.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and communication across business and technical teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven track record as a Cutover Manager / Project Manager in large-scale ERP implementations, specifically SAP (S/4HANA or ECC).
- Extensive experience managing data migration and cutover activities in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of ERP data domains (e.g., Employee, customer, vendor, material, finance, transactional data).
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with data migration tools and techniques.
- Desirable: Experience with SAP Activate methodology or equivalent delivery frameworks.
- Background in Public Sector prefered.
- Familiarity with change management and business readiness activities during ERP go-live.
