FP&A Business Partner

Reed Finance are supporting a growing, multi-site business operating across sales, service and distribution, with a strong focus on data-driven decision making and continued investment in technology, reporting and business intelligence.

Reporting to the Finance Director, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded FP&A professional to play a key role in driving business performance, growth and financial strategy.

You'll take ownership of budgeting, forecasting and cash flow forecasting, developing robust financial models and delivering meaningful insight to support strategic decision-making. Working closely with the finance, accounting and development teams, you'll help drive the business's digital strategy, enhance reporting capabilities and support ongoing transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
  • Own and develop cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis.
  • Build and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards and management reporting.
  • Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with operational and senior stakeholders to improve commercial performance.
  • Drive reporting automation, process improvement and digital transformation projects.
  • Support strategic planning, business cases and growth initiatives.

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent experience
  • Strong FP&A, commercial finance or management reporting background.
  • Extensive experience working with large datasets.
  • Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills.
  • Strong Power BI experience.
  • Technically proficient accountant with strong commercial exposure.
  • Experience translating complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Comfortable working across finance, technology and operational teams.
  • Proactive, analytical and driven by continuous improvement.

This is a highly visible role with significant exposure to senior leadership, offering the opportunity to influence strategy, drive business growth and play a key role in the evolution of the finance function.

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Benefits
