Project Manager (Finance Systems Implementation)
Location: Bath Contract: Fixed-term until Feb 2027 Sector: Digital Transformation / Finance Systems
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to lead a major finance system implementation as part of a large-scale digital transformation programme.
This role will be central to delivering a new cloud-based finance platform and supporting wider improvements across data, integrations and identity management. The project involves replacing an existing finance system with a modern, standardised Unit4 solution, helping to streamline processes and improve efficiency across the organisation.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading a high-priority finance system project within a wider digital transformation programme
- Creating and maintaining a clear, detailed project plan that highlights key tasks, milestones and resource needs
- Managing day-to-day delivery, identifying risks and resolving issues to keep the project on track
- Working closely with technical teams, finance colleagues, system integrators and specialist resources
- Engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders and subject matter experts
- Ensuring strong communication and collaboration across all project groups
What we’re looking for
- Experience delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of finance processes, terminology and workflows
- Experience implementing finance systems – ideally Unit4
- Ability to work with finance teams in a supportive but structured way
- Confidence in directing project activities and ensuring tasks stay aligned to timeframes
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to bring teams together
- A passion for continuous improvement and making a positive impact
