Overview An early-stage AI start-up is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to build the internal backbone underpinning AI-driven workflows, RMS integrations, and secure data operations. This is a hands-on engineering position ideal for someone who enjoys early-phase product building, systems design, and rapid iteration in a regulated-data environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build backend services using Python (FastAPI, async frameworks, Pydantic).
  • Develop and maintain event-driven workflows and orchestration logic.
  • Design and implement API integrations with internal and external systems, including RMS/ATS platforms.
  • Create and manage data schemas, validation processes, and secure handling pipelines.
  • Develop lightweight user/admin interfaces to support internal operational workflows.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, scalability planning, and core technical strategy.
  • Apply best practice for regulated data handling and secure engineering standards.

Must-Have Experience:

  • Strong Python engineering experience, including FastAPI, async programming, and Pydantic.
  • Proven experience working in start-ups (seed to early-growth mandatory).
  • Experience working with regulated or sensitive data (healthcare, government, legal tech, defence, etc.).
  • Understanding of secure development, data governance, and compliance-aligned engineering.
  • Eligibility for Security Check (SC) Clearance.

Nice to Have:

  • UI automation experience for integrating with legacy or non-API-native systems.
  • Knowledge of workflow engines, orchestration tools, or ETL pipelines.
  • Front-end development exposure (React, TypeScript, or similar).
  • Experience building AI-driven, data-intensive, or workflow-heavy platforms.
