GIS Specialist/Geographical Information Analyst

Our large public sector client are recruiting for a GIS Specialist.  We’re looking for an experienced Geographical Information Analyst with strong LLPG/NLPG custodianship skills to support a major customer experience platform upgrade.

Following a system migration, a number of addresses no longer align with master LLPG data. You’ll review a schedule of affected records, investigate the cause of mismatches across statutory sources (planning, SNN, CTax, EReg, etc.), correct LLPG entries where appropriate, and advise the project team on any updates they need to apply.

The role includes resolving issues at individual record level, as well as identifying root causes and recommending improvements to prevent future mismatches.

Skills & Experience Required

• LLPG/NLPG management experience (ideally as LLPG Custodian)
• Strong knowledge of addressing standards (BS7666, GeoPlace SNN Code of Practice)
• Proficient in GIS/LLPG systems and mapping tools
• Data cleansing, validation, and transformation expertise
• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving and investigative skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
