A public sector organisation based in Reading is seeking an experienced Geographical Information Analyst with strong expertise in Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG) management to support the successful implementation of the organisation's new customer experience platform.

Role Responsibilities

The appointed specialist will:

1. Address Review & Resolution

  • Review the schedule of mismatched addresses between the legacy system and LLPG.
  • Investigate each case, cross-referencing with other statutory datasets where relevant (e.g., Planning, Street Naming & Numbering applications, Council Tax, Electoral Registration).
  • Identify the root cause of mismatches and apply appropriate fixes in the LLPG.
  • Provide clear advice to the Customer Experience Team regarding any changes required on the Arcus/Salesforce side.

2. Process & Quality Improvement

  • Advise on underlying or systemic issues contributing to the mismatches.
  • Recommend process improvements or data management approaches to ensure better alignment going forward.
  • Help strengthen data quality standards and LLPG integration practices.

Skills & Experience Required

We are looking for someone who brings:

Essential

    • GeoPlace Street Naming & Numbering Code of Practice
  • Strong working knowledge of GIS and LLPG systems (any major platform considered).
  • Experience using digital mapping tools and geospatial analysis software.
  • Expertise in data cleansing, validation, transformation, and problem identification.
  • Excellent problem-solving and investigative skills with a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Ability to update records accurately and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload effectively.
