Graduate Data Analyst

• Location: Sunderland City Centre
• Job Type: Full-time, Office-based (3 days a week)
• Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum

Day-to-day of the role:

• Collect, clean, and analyse data from various sources to support business reporting and meet business needs.
• Design and maintain dashboards and reporting architecture using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Collaborate with teams across the organisation to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Analyse datasets to identify trends and patterns that support decision-making.
• Assist in automating data processes and improving reporting workflows.
• Contribute to the delivery of data projects as part of the Data team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree in Computing Science, Mathematics, or a related data field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Good understanding of SQL or other query languages is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts in non-technical terms.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management and prioritisation abilities.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Awareness of data protection and confidentiality principles.
