Graphic Designer
Location: Fulham
This role is crucial in supporting the Creative Department within an innovative company in the leisure and tourism industry.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Design user interfaces for mobile devices, apps, web, and other interactive applications.
- Deliver creative and engaging designs that either feature a unique look and feel or adhere to specific brand guidelines.
- Manage the entire design process from brief to delivery, utilising wireframes, flowcharts, prototypes, mock-ups, and storyboards, and publish final graphics for deployment.
- Edit and refine designs based on feedback and user testing.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Development, and Marketing teams to understand project requirements.
- Research, artwork, and manage project assets, such as photography and video.
- Create, edit, and publish audiovisual content, including slideshows, animations, and videos.
- Design compelling visuals for marketing materials, social media, websites, presentations, and print collateral.
- Follow in-house guidelines and practices, and archive work as required.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time and within budget.
- Adhere to best practice and industry standards with a focus on user experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree-level qualification in Graphic Design or a related subject.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a studio environment or similar.
- Demonstrable experience in designing user interfaces for mobile or web.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects/Premiere Pro.
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
