HR Business Partner - IT/Tech Consultancy business

I am thrilled to be partnered with a Technology Consulting Business based in Central London to recruit a HR Business Partner on a full time, Permanent basis. This is an exciting time to join, as the company has recently been growing through acquisitions which has led to new opportunities for development and progression.

The main responsibilities of this job will be to support stakeholders, including line managers and Executive level Directors across the business on a variety of HR issues. This will include employee relations casework, which could range from sickness/absence, complex cases, performance management and redundancies. You will also be working on TUPE, change management, transformation projects, engagement, and more. Salary on offer is between £60,000 to £70,000 per annum. This job will operate on the hybrid working model, with some days based in the office and the rest from home each week.

Some of the roles and responsibilities of this job are as follows: 

  • Build and develop relationships with stakeholders across the business, ranging from line managers to exec level directors and support them with any HR requirements they may have. 
  • Lead on complex employee relations casework, including all disciplinary/grievance cases, performance management, redundancies, consultations, and settlements as required.
  • Take the lead on change management programmes, consulting with the business and employees on all matters to do with redeployment, TUPE, transformation and restructures.
  • Proactively act on information from engagement survey results, partnering with Directors/Managers to suggest any improvements or process changes improving efficiency and employee support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a HR Business Partner, ideally within a IT consultancy or technology environment.
  • Strong background in managing complex employee relations cases.
  • Experience leading change management programmes and understanding of TUPE regulations.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
