HRIS Implementation Project Officer – 6-Month Contract
We are seeking a skilled and proactive HRIS Implementation Project Officer to support the final stages of a major HR system transformation. This is a temporary full-time role for six months, working closely with the HR Director and Senior HR Advisor to ensure the successful deployment and optimisation of the new iTrent HRIS platform.
About the Role:
This position plays a pivotal role in bridging HR, Finance, IT, and end users, ensuring the HRIS is fully embedded and delivering value across the organisation. You’ll lead on configuration, testing, training, and post-implementation support, helping streamline HR processes and improve data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead/support the final stages of HRIS implementation, including configuration, testing, and go-live support
- Review progress to date and recommend refinements and enhancements
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to meet project goals
- Oversee data migration, cleansing, and validation
- Monitor system performance and resolve technical issues
- Deliver training and create user guides for staff
- Develop documentation for HRIS policies and procedures
- Generate reports and analytics to support decision-making
- Ensure GDPR compliance and data confidentiality
- Support other HR-related tasks as required
Person Specification:
Experience:
- Proven experience in HRIS implementation (essential)
- Experience with iTrent (desirable)
- Strong understanding of HR processes and data management
- Knowledge of payroll and other HR functions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Qualifications:
- Degree in HR, IT, Business Administration or equivalent experience
- CIPD qualification or equivalent (essential)
- Project management certification (desirable)

- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Confident trainer and problem-solver
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Understanding of data protection legislation
