The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Sales to lead and scale our revenue function. This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving growth across both public and private sector markets.
You will take ownership of the sales strategy, lead a growing team, and play a key role in shaping our go-to-market approach as the business expands into new verticals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a high-impact sales strategy aligned to company growth objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team.
- Drive revenue growth across public sector accounts (central government, local authorities, NHS, etc.).
- Build and expand our presence within the private sector, identifying new markets and opportunities.
- Own and deliver against ambitious revenue targets.
- Establish strong relationships with senior stakeholders and key clients.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and leadership teams to refine value proposition and positioning.
- Implement robust sales processes, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
Key Requirements
- Proven track record in a senior sales leadership role within SaaS / procurement technology / enterprise software.
- Strong experience selling into the UK public sector, with knowledge of frameworks (e.g., G-Cloud, CCS).
- Demonstrated success in building or scaling a private sector sales function.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to execute and deliver results.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial approach with the ability to thrive in a growth environment.
Desirable Experience
- Background in procurement, supply chain, or finance technology.
- Experience in a scaling or PE-backed business.
- Existing network within public sector procurement and/or enterprise clients.
