Join our dedicated team at a secondary school in Lancaster, where we are seeking a dynamic ICT Teacher to start in September. This role is ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of the curriculum, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to creating an engaging learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons of ICT to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous but not essential.
• Utilise strong subject knowledge to inspire and motivate students.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management to ensure a constructive learning environment.
• Assess, monitor, and record the progress of students, providing feedback to help them improve.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons.
• Act as a role model to students, demonstrating qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Recent relevant experience teaching ICT at KS3 and KS4 levels; KS5 experience is beneficial.
• Excellent classroom practitioner with robust classroom management skills.
• Reliable, committed, and interested in working with students.
• Good interpersonal skills, punctuality, patience, and confidence when working with children.
