Reed Education is working with a well-established specialist independent school in Lewes that is seeking a part-time ICT or Computing Teacher to join their team on a supply basis with an immediate start.

This rewarding opportunity would suit a qualified teacher or experienced instructor who is passionate about technology and enjoys making learning accessible, engaging, and meaningful for students with additional learning needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging ICT and/or Computing lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Differentiate learning to meet a range of individual needs and abilities.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress.
• Support learners in developing digital literacy, computing knowledge, and practical IT skills.
• Work collaboratively with support staff and wider school colleagues.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching experience.
• Experience teaching ICT, Computing, or Computer Science at secondary level.
• A strong understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum.
• Experience working with SEND learners would be advantageous.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A flexible and positive approach to teaching.
