Support and Service Administrator
- Contract Type: Temporary (Until the end of March)
- Location: Flexible (Remote)
- Salary: £15.49 per hour PAYE
- Security Clearance Required: SC Clearance
We are seeking a proactive and professional Support and Service Administrator to provide essential IT support services. This role involves managing and progressing complaints, problem resolutions, and escalations with third-party suppliers and service providers. Additionally, the role includes systems administration for key business applications, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of changes.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Act as the first line of escalation for complaints and issues, liaising with third-party suppliers to support the resolution of incidents.
- Review service desk data to identify trends and recommend service improvements.
- Provide IT advice and guidance to colleagues, either remotely or desk-side, to resolve problems and promote effective IT usage.
- Manage system administration for business-critical applications, including SharePoint Online and case management systems.
- Ensure compliance with change control mechanisms and maintain high standards of data accuracy and security.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Foundation level IT qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in systems administration, including managing user permissions and system templates.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SharePoint Online and case management systems.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of IT change management processes and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
- Effective communication skills, capable of relating to a wide variety of audiences.
- Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively.
