Location: Soth West London Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 Hours: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (office-based)Annual Leave: 20 days + public holidays Start Date: Immediate
Please note: This is an office-based role with no remote working.
Our client has recently implemented a new software system and is looking for an IT Administrator to join their team and take ownership of day-to-day IT needs. This position will cover 1st-2nd line support issues for their two offices (same site) supporting 25 employees.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT professional to become the go-to person for IT support within their London site. You’ll act as the key liaison between their IT subcontractor and software provider, ensuring smooth operations and supporting their team with essential IT services.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact between our IT subcontractor and their new inventory system provider.
- Handle low-level IT issues in-house (e.g., printer problems, rebooting devices, password resets).
- Coordinate with third party support for complex IT issues and the software provider for system-related queries.
- Ensure new joiners have the required devices and access from day one.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Office 365.
- Monitor patch management and ensure systems are up to date.
- Configure and set up workstations to company specifications.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in an IT support role.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Office 365, Active Directory, Windows OS, networking, IP connectivity, and mobile device management (MDM).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
