Are you an inspiring IT Tutor who wants to make a real difference?

We’re working with a growing, forward-thinking specialist post-16 college based in Margate supporting young people with SEND to unlock their potential and move confidently into the world of work. Due to exciting expansion, they’re looking for a passionate IT Tutor to join their close-knit team.

The Role

You’ll deliver IT qualifications (Level 1–2) while bringing learning to life through creative, hands-on sessions. This isn’t your average classroom role – you’ll be working with disengaged learners, helping them build confidence, develop life skills and prepare for their futures.

You’ll:

• Deliver engaging IT sessions with embedded English & maths
• Support learners with SEND, adapting teaching to individual needs
• Teach employability skills, personal development & British values
• Create fun, innovative lessons that break away from traditional teaching
• Help learners progress into employment, education or training
• Collaborate with a supportive, “all hands on deck” team

About You

You’re more than a tutor – you’re a motivator, mentor and role model.

• Experience teaching IT (Level 1–2)
• Passion for working with young people with SEND
• Creative, engaging and learner-focused approach
• Confident managing challenging behaviour positively
• Relevant teaching qualification (or working towards)
• Positive, energetic and resilient attitude
