My client is looking for an IT Operations Support Analyst to join their technology team in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT support professional looking to develop specialist skills in Identity & Access Management, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Information Security.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality IT support while ensuring users have secure, reliable and appropriate access to systems and services. This role combines hands-on technical support with responsibility for user provisioning, account administration and access management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to employees and authorised users.
- Log, manage and resolve incidents and service requests through the IT service desk.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, Microsoft 365 and connectivity issues.
- Configure and deploy laptops, mobile devices and workplace technology.
- Administer user accounts within Microsoft Entra ID.
- Manage joiner, mover and leaver processes, ensuring accounts and access are created, amended and removed accurately.
- Process and validate access requests in line with approval procedures.
- Support MFA, password resets, account recovery and authentication issues.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, assets, user accounts and permissions.
- Support IT governance, compliance activities and security best practice.
- Contribute to process improvements, documentation and service enhancements.
- Assist with IT projects and wider technology initiatives.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in an IT Support Analyst, Service Desk or 1st/2nd Line Support role.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments and Microsoft 365.
- Experience managing user accounts, permissions and access requests.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) or similar identity platforms.
- Familiarity with IT service management and ticketing systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a structured environment.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
Desirable
- Experience of Identity & Access Management processes.
- Knowledge of MFA and authentication technologies.
- Exposure to endpoint management tools.
- Understanding of cyber security and access governance principles.
- Microsoft certifications or relevant technical qualifications.
