We're looking for a strategic and delivery-focused Portfolio Manager to lead the way in managing our project portfolio across Digital Workplace and the wider IT department. This newly restructured role is designed to meet the evolving needs of our business and will play a key part in how we scope, prioritise, and deliver impactful technology initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Own and evolve our project demand intake and scoping processes.
  • Maintain a strategic view of the Digital Workplace portfolio-backlog, road-map, and priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with technical, service, infrastructure, and engagement teams.
  • Deliver key projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
  • Provide insightful reporting using tools like Power BI, MS Project, and Planner.
  • Champion governance and best practices in portfolio and project management.
  • Identify and remove bottlenecks, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental alignment and communication.
  • Support internal mobility by assessing work requests and recommending internal solutions.
  • Mentor and coach Junior Project Managers, nurturing a culture of growth and learning.

You're a strategic thinker with a passion for delivery and improvement. You thrive in complex environments and bring clarity, structure, and energy to everything you do.

You'll need:

  • Proven experience in IT or Digital Workplace project/portfolio management
  • Strong grasp of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Power BI, MS Project, etc.)
  • Experience mentoring or coaching team members
  • Confidence to constructively challenge and influence decisions
