IT Procurement Analyst

Reed Technology is supporting a Clydebank-based organisation in the search for a permanent IT Procurement Analyst.

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing the procurement of technology products and services that support the organisation's digital operations. You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure value for money, contract compliance and effective supplier management.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement for hardware, software, cloud services and overall IT services. 
• Be responsible for contract & vendor management, negotiating commercial terms and pricing.
• Manage contract renewals, amendments and lifecycle activities.
• Maintain and review supplier and contract data within the contract management system.
• Work closely with IT teams to ensure procurement, asset management and configuration management processes remain effective and up to date.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an IT procurement / administration role.
• Demonstrable supplier management and vendor negotiation experience is essential.
• Experience handling stock and forward-planning with suppliers for hardware and software refreshes.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• ITIL v4 certification is desirable. 
• Full right to work in the UK without the need for current or future sponsorship.
