IT Project Manager

• £504 per day outside IR35
• Remote with some occasional travel to Manchester

Our client in Manchester is currently looking for an IT Project Manager where you will be responsible for managing and delivering a range of Infrastructure and security related projects. You will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders at all levels.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Manage the delivery of assigned IS projects, consisting of numerous technical and business streams and involving both internal and external resources, on time and to budget whilst making sure the agreed business case continues to be met
• Produce, monitor and update project plans, project initiation documents, board papers, financial trackers, and other project documentation
• Identify and manage project risks and issues through logging, reporting, analysis, mitigation, and escalation
• Establish and maintain appropriate governance forums and communication channels for stakeholders internally and externally at all levels
• Collecting, understanding, documenting, and transmitting the business requirements for the project, obtaining the appropriate sign-off

The following skills and experience will be beneficial for this role:

• Experience of deploying Infrastructure and Security systems & solutions into hybrid environments.
• Good track record of delivering key projects on time and within budget 
• Good technical understanding and ability to hold technical conversations with stakeholders as well good working knowledge on technical systems 
• Ability to communicate effectively to range of audiences in a clear manner 
• Ability to build strong relationships with people at all levels
