IT Support Analyst

Chelmsford | £30,000 - £33,000 | Full-Time (35 Hours)

We're working with a well-established organisation in Chelmsford to recruit an IT Support Analyst to join their growing Data & IT team. This is a newly created role offering a mix of hands-on IT support, business application support, user training, and stakeholder engagement.

As the primary on-site IT contact, you'll work closely with users, third-party software providers, and an outsourced IT support partner to ensure systems, devices, and technology services run smoothly across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for business-critical applications and databases.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and user issues, escalating where required.
• Deliver IT inductions, user training, and create support documentation.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Act as the on-site escalation point for IT issues requiring physical intervention.
• Support meeting room technology, AV equipment, and collaboration tools.
• Liaise with external suppliers and maintain IT asset records.
• Travel occasionally to other regional sites to provide support.

About You

• Experience in IT support, service desk, or application support environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Confident communicating with both technical and non-technical users.
• Able to deliver user training and provide excellent customer service.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Desirable

• Experience supporting CRM or database systems.
• ITIL awareness or certification.
• Exposure to reporting tools or data analysis.
• Experience working alongside outsourced IT providers.
• Knowledge of AV or meeting room technology.
