IT Support Analyst

IT Support // IT Administrator // IPSWICH // Fully onsite // 25hours a week // 6 month contract // £14.59/hour PAYE (£18.92/hour Umbrella) 

REED Technology are supporting a client in finding a IT front line technician to join their IT Operations team. This role will help manage and maintain the IT Service Catalogue, ensuring IT goods and services are delivered efficiently and accurately across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer the IT Service Catalogue, including updates to services, products, and pricing.
• Provide and configure IT equipment, peripherals, and accessories.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate procurement with suppliers.
• Raise purchase orders and process standard/non-standard service requests.
• Maintain accurate technical and product information for catalogue items.
• Track request progress and support the delivery of minor IT changes/projects.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of IT systems, hardware, and peripherals.
• Experience in IT support, service delivery, or procurement environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
• Familiarity with service catalogue management and IT procurement processes.
• Good understanding of customer service best practice.
• Confident user of MS Office and other business applications.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or NVQ2 in ICT (or equivalent experience).
• Evidence of professional development in IT or procurement.
