Junior IT Support Contractor

We are seeking a Junior IT Support Contractor to provide essential onsite support within a multinational enterprise office environment. This role involves acting as the local hands-and-eyes for the central IT team, ensuring smooth IT operations and user support.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide onsite support for Windows 11 users and assist with common Microsoft 365 issues including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Manage the setup and maintenance of laptops, desktops, docking stations, monitors, and peripherals.
• Support meeting rooms and basic AV setups, including cable checks, user guidance, fault reporting, and coordination with AV providers.
• Perform local hands-and-eyes tasks for the network and infrastructure teams, such as physical checks and photo documentation.
• Handle and troubleshoot issues with printers, scanners, headsets, and other workplace IT equipment.
• Create and update support tickets with detailed notes and evidence.
• Coordinate onsite visits with local stakeholders, Facilities, and external providers.
• Escalate complex issues to the central IT team as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Windows 11 desktop support and basic troubleshooting for Microsoft 365 applications.
• Understanding of basic Active Directory / Entra ID concepts.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting and replacement.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and policies provided by the central IT team.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with endpoint protection/antivirus troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Teams Rooms, Yealink, or similar meeting room equipment.
• Previous experience in a multinational company environment.
