We're supporting a market-leading technology business that delivers innovative software solutions to thousands of users across highly regulated industries. Their continued growth has created an opportunity for an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join their infrastructure team in Cheltenham.

This is an opportunity to work across a diverse technology landscape spanning cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, automation and enterprise systems whilst contributing to strategic technology improvements and operational excellence.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting and maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure
  • Managing cloud and on-premise environments
  • Troubleshooting complex technical issues and delivering root cause analysis
  • Supporting infrastructure projects and system upgrades
  • Developing and enhancing automation through PowerShell scripting
  • Working across server, storage, networking and cloud platforms
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and technical teams

What we're looking for

  • Strong systems engineering or infrastructure engineering experience
  • Experience supporting cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
  • PowerShell scripting and automation capabilities
  • Understanding of network infrastructure and enterprise storage
  • Experience supporting business-critical production environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
