An Interim IT Manager is required for our client who are based in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and effectiveness of all internal IT services while acting as the primary owner of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) relationship. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution, supporting employees across the organisation and serving as the technical point of accountability for the company’s core software platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the MSP and vendor management relationship and ensure SLAs are met
• Oversee daily IT support, onboarding/offboarding & device management
• Own key SaaS platforms (M365, Azure AD, HRIS, Salesforce, Slack/Jira/Confluence, financial systems)
• Maintain strong security, controls, and compliance standards
• Deliver clear, pragmatic IT leadership and short-term roadmap improvements

Experience required:

• 8+ years of IT experience, including hands-on systems administration or IT management
• Strong MSP/vendor management background
• Solid experience with SaaS, cloud-first environments & hybrid workforces
• Confident communicator able to balance hands-on and strategic work
