IT/Digital Tutor -Part-Time (Adults) - Birmingham

Reed Further Education are supporting a local education provider in their search for a passionate and knowledgeable IT/Digital Tutor to deliver engaging lessons to adult learners.

Location: Birmingham? Contract: Part-time, temporary (ongoing)?? Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour? Learners: Adult students Levels: Entry Level 3 and Level 1 IT

About the Role:You’ll be delivering a range of IT and digital skills units designed to build learners’ confidence and employability. Units may include:

• Creating a website
• Creating a Spreadsheet to Solve Problems
• Designing an Interactive Presentation
• Creating an Animation
• Presenting a Business Idea
• Using Digital Communication Technologies
• Introduction to Cyber Security
• Branding a Product

Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification (essential)
• Subject-specific qualifications in IT/Digital
• A DBS on the Update Service is desirable -or willingness to obtain one
• Experience teaching Entry Level and/or Level 1 IT to adults is highly beneficial
