Job title: Interim IT Procurement Officer

Contract: 3 Months Initial Term
Rate: Up to £570 per day
Location: London (60% office / 40% remote)
Start Date: ASAP

An established organisation operating within a highly regulated environment is seeking an experienced Interim IT Procurement Officer to provide immediate support during a critical period for the procurement function.

This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional who can quickly integrate into the business, work autonomously, and manage a diverse technology procurement portfolio from day one.

The Role

Working within a busy Procurement team, you will support a broad range of IT and technology procurement activities across the organisation. You will partner with key stakeholders, manage supplier relationships, and ensure procurement projects are delivered efficiently and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end technology procurement activities
• Supporting software, hardware and telecommunications sourcing requirements
• Leading supplier negotiations and contract renewals
• Running RFP and RFQ processes
• Delivering strategic sourcing initiatives
• Providing procurement advice and support to internal stakeholders
• Reviewing commercial terms and identifying value opportunities
• Supporting procurement governance and regulatory requirements
• Managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment

About You

We are looking for an experienced procurement professional who can hit the ground running with minimal onboarding.

You will ideally demonstrate:

• Strong IT procurement experience gained within a corporate environment
• Experience across software, hardware and technology sourcing categories
• Proven supplier negotiation and contract management skills
• Ability to operate independently and manage competing priorities
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen
• Attention to detail and a pragmatic approach to problem solving
• Experience working within a fast-paced, changing environment

Desirable Experience

Knowledge of regulatory frameworks impacting third-party suppliers and technology procurement would be advantageous.
