Internal Sales Account Manager

Reed have partnered with our national client to recruit a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales Account Manager based in their office in Central Bristol.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing inside sales team, managing a portfolio of B2B accounts across corporate and public sector clients.

As an Internal Sales Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing an existing customer base, driving revenue and profit growth while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. You’ll work closely with product specialists and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure long-term customer loyalty.

This is a hybrid, office-based role, with Tuesdays to Thursdays in the office and Mondays and Fridays working from home. The office is conveniently located in Bristol, easily accessible via major transport routes including Bristol Temple Meads station.

Hours: Full Time, Monday–Friday, 9am–5:30pm Salary: £25k - £30k + Bonus (50% of annual salary, paid monthly, 2 months in arrears) 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate and public sector accounts, ensuring consistent engagement and satisfaction.
  • Accurately forecast revenue and profit performance.
  • Create strategic account plans across all customer hierarchies and legal entities.
  • Deliver high Net Promoter Scores (NPS) through excellent service and relationship management.
  • Close contracts across a broad enterprise portfolio.
  • Collaborate with product specialists to build tailored, value-driven solutions.
  • Support new business and bid processes for high-value opportunities.
  • Use data, analytics, and insights to drive continual sales improvement.
  • Proactively manage churn risk and defend existing revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with all sales processes and governance requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in managing and growing customer accounts in a sales environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with accurate forecasting.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyse customer trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Confidence in handling complex customer scenarios and engaging senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborative approach with a willingness to share and receive feedback.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and identify more efficient approaches.
  • Skilled in negotiating and building value throughout the sales cycle.
