Internal Sales Executive - Fluent German

German Speaking - European Inbound Sales Executive.

  • Annual Salary: £26,500 per annum basic salary
  • Commission: Expected commission for this role is an impressive £10,000 on top of your salary!
  • Location: Birmingham, Hybrid working after a successful training period
  • Job Type: Full-time, permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a customer-centric candidate who is fluent in German to join a prestigious client known for their strong reputation within the technology sector. The primary purpose of this position is to manage client accounts within Europe and to exceed sales revenue targets. This role requires a fluent German speaker as you will be responsible for managing German customers. This position is both proactive and reactive.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Contacting existing and prospective customers to generate and increase revenue.
  • Working towards quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Following up on leads generated through advertising, exhibitions, and other marketing activities.
  • Supporting field sales staff and assisting with planning and service.
  • Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell.
  • Producing quotes for work and loading orders within same working day timeframes.
  • Producing high-value quotes for project work.
  • Keeping customers informed of stock levels and delivery expectations.
  • Processing requests for specification sheets.
  • Attending sales meetings and training sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English and German, both speaking and writing.
  • Previous telephone-based customer service or sales experience is highly desirable.
  • Confidence with telephone and email correspondence.
  • Ideally from a technical or security background.
  • IT competent.
  • Ability to create sales strategies and prioritise workload.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
