Junior Infrastructure Engineer

Reed Technology is partnering with a forward-thinking organisation embarking on a major Azure transformation, migrating its infrastructure from on-premises to the cloud. We’re looking for a Junior Infrastructure Engineer who is keen to develop hands-on cloud skills and progress their career as part of a high-impact technology programme.

You’ll join a supportive and collaborative infrastructure team, gaining exposure to Azure, Microsoft 365, and server technologies, while contributing to real-world migration, improvement, and support initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the organisation’s on-premises to Azure migration activities.
  • Deliver a mix of BAU support, break/fix tasks, continuous improvements, and project work.
  • Assist with the resolution of infrastructure and cloud-related incidents and tickets.
  • Support day-to-day system stability and contribute to ongoing platform improvements.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Junior Infrastructure Engineer, IT Support, or Systems Engineer role.
  • Solid knowledge of Azure and cloud infrastructure.
  • Exposure to Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server and Microsoft 365.
  • Understanding of virtualisation and server environments.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team.
