Junior Performance Analyst
We are seeking a Performance Analyst to support the delivery of high-quality performance reporting across the organisation. The role is responsible for preparing and delivering accurate, insightful performance reports to a strict monthly timetable, enabling business stakeholders to review performance and make informed decisions.
This is a junior-level role, similar to a Business Analyst, ideal for someone with strong data analysis skills who can gather information, create reports, and clearly explain insights so teams can understand and act on the data.
Location: Westminster, SE1
Payrate: £17.85 PAYE / £22.59 Umbrella
Hybrid: Must be able to attend the office 2 days per week (no negotiable) one of the days to be Wednesday.
Contract: Initially 3 months with potential extencion
Key responsibilities- Produce monthly performance reports in line with strict reporting deadlines and agreed quality standards
- Support external and regulatory performance reporting requirements
- Provide performance analysis across key business areas
- Maintain and oversee a library of KPI definitions, working with business leads to define, document, and publish KPIs
- Carry out routine data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of performance information
- Work closely with colleagues to automate performance reporting, improving usability and impact across the organisation
- Translate complex data into clear, meaningful insights for non-technical audiences
You will bring:
- Experience in corporate performance reporting or a similar data/reporting role
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and some experience using Power BI
- A methodical approach, high attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills
- The ability to gather information, create clear reports, and explain insights to stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and confidence presenting information to different audiences
- A proactive, customer-focused, and results-oriented mindset
