Junior ServiceNow Developer

DV clearance, ServiceNow Developer, Hybrid Role With 4 Days a Week Onsite In Either Birmingham or London, Permanent Role

My client, a leader in the public sector, is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to join their existing team on a permanent basis.

With a focus on developing and refining the IT Service Management (ITSM) toolsets, you will be involved in providing technical support and expertise to the national operations centre. You will assist in vital operations and strategic work as the CSC seeks to improve and modernise its ITSM platform and tooling, which is currently an on-premise installation of Service Now.

Applicants must demonstrate the following:

• ServiceNow development/Administration experience
• ITSM
• ITIL
• Experience and knowledge of the Government Security Classifications levels and an understanding of the Cabinet Office Security Policy Framework
• The role holder must be eligible for DV (STRAP) vetting clearance
• Highly motivated and determined to contribute to the mission. Engages in continuous learning to become a subject matter expert, particularly in technologies.

This role will require the successful candidate to undergo DV security clearance which will likely take between 9 - 12 months, meaning a start date of autumn 2026 is likely.
