Admin & eLearning Development Support

Location: Newry
Position Type: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday (core hours 8am-6pm)
Salary: £28,000 to £33,000 per annum

Profile

My client is seeking an organised and proactive Admin & eLearning Development Support Officer to join our team in Belfast. This role combines eLearning development support, NVQ centre coordination, and general administrative responsibilities to ensure the smooth delivery of digital learning programmes and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Administration & Customer Support

  • Manage incoming emails and respond to enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide advice and assistance to prospective and existing clients regarding training courses, bookings, and learning solutions.
  • Support customer interactions via telephone, email, online platforms, and face-to-face communication.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive learner, client, and course records across organisational systems.
  • Ensure all information entered training and learning management systems is accurate and up to date.

eLearning Development Support

  • Support the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of eLearning programmes.
  • Assist in creating engaging digital learning content aligned to customer needs and business objectives.
  • Review and update online learning materials to reflect legislative changes, best practice, and business requirements.
  • Support client meetings to gather requirements and contribute to the development of bespoke and off-the-shelf eLearning solutions.
  • Analyse learner and client feedback and recommend improvements to course performance, usability, and learner experience.

Learning Platform Administration

  • Maintain and administer digital learning systems, including:
    • AccessPlanIt
    • Talent LMS
    • QualsDirect
  • Support learners with platform access and technical queries.
  • Ensure an effective and seamless learner journey across all digital learning platforms.

NVQ Centre Coordination

  • Act as NVQ Centre Coordinator.
  • Ensure compliance with awarding body standards, policies, and quality assurance requirements.
  • Support learner registrations, progress tracking, and reporting processes.
  • Liaise with learners, assessors, clients, and awarding bodies as required.
  • Maintain accurate NVQ records and documentation.

Client Relationship Management

  • Manage and support key eLearning and NVQ client accounts.
  • Build strong working relationships through regular communication, review meetings, and reporting.
  • Resolve client and learner issues promptly and professionally.

Essential Criteria

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience managing and maintaining accurate records and databases.
  • Experience working with learners, customers, or clients in a professional environment.
