Sheffield City Council are seeking a Local Land Charges Project Officer to manage and lead the migration of Sheffield Council's local land charges data to HM Land Registry's digital register. The successful candidate will ensure that all data meets the high-quality standards required for the national register and will identify efficiencies in team processes and use of systems. This role is crucial for reporting project updates to the project board and ensuring a smooth transition to digital operations.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead the migration of local land charges data to the digital register maintained by HM Land Registry.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with national quality standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements and system efficiencies within the team.
- Regularly report on project progress, risks, and resolutions to the project board.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective data integration and project success.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the LLC service, including applicable legislation and regulations.
- Proven experience in project management, particularly with HM Land Registry data migration and administrative software implementations.
- Strong skills in progress reporting, risk management, and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with TLC (Total Land Charges database), the Land Registry Workbook, and Uniform (planning applications database) or similar systems.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver outcomes within tight deadlines.
